Happy Friday! Some how this Friday favorites turned into a Halloween themed one. Really I noticed everything was black and white, so I decided to play it up since I'm super ready for fall.

How adorable is this Halloween garland?! I want it to hang on our mantle. I love garlands of any kind especially if they're holiday themed.

Lately I've only been buying comfy lounge clothes. Probably because that's all I want to wear. This pajamas, all day. tee is perfection.

Last year for Christmas I embroidered a set of kitchen towel for my mom and grandma. It was tedious but fun at the same time. I'm obsessing over this emoji embroidery pattern. I see Christmas presents for my besties already ;)

With the theme of my comfy clothes comes this sweatshirt jean jacket. Perfect for a fall Saturday. I always shoot right back to middle school whenever I shop at American Eagle, but I still always end up finding something I like for my current style there.

I love this dreamer print. There is something about motivational art that gets me. I think it's great to have them around to remind you how lucky you are everyday. 

I love this graphic pillow. I'm so over chevron, but I like how this one brakes it up to be a mix between chevron and herringbone. Still deciding on color for our living room, but a neutral is always a safe bed.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

This body wash i got in my Birchbox this month and I love it! They have a bunch of different scents, but my fav is the lemon one! It's refreshing, relaxing, and rejuvenating all in one.

I've been eying up this eyeliner from Benefit for a month now. It's been sitting in my Birchbox shopping cart. They must have known cause they sent me a sample and its perfect. It is so easy to control compared to my liquid liner so I get a much better line out of it.

I've received the Hello fragrance once before in my Birchbox and I love it. It's the perfect mix to wear all year round. Now I just have to buy it :)

I'm a sucker for a good motivational print. Like I've said many times before, this 'enjoy the little things print' is on my imaginary gallery wall in my entry hall.

I'm also a sucker for a quoted mug. This one from Miss Poppy Design's Etsy shop is adorbs.

I am obsessed with these skinny sweatpants. I live in them outside of work. They are the perfect fit, not too tight but not too loose. I'm tempted to buy a couple more pairs cause with the way I wear them they won't last long.

There is something so warming and cozy about a good bookshelf. I don't know if it's the thought of reading of just the warmth and happiness books bring. Here are some of my favs.

Happy Friday all! We've made it through another week!

I am dying for fall, and stores are finally starting to release pieces from their fall line. Not as much as I'd like but it's about baby steps here. This pink jacket is perfect for fall/winter. I love a jacket with an unexpected pop of color. And it's at JCrew facotory, so it's not as pricy as you'd think!

While I was on vacation last week, one of my coworkers lent me White Girl Problems to read. I was so happy cause I completely forgot about beach reading! What is wrong with me! I have no idea why it took me so long to pick up this book because it's right up my ally. It is hilarious, I was laughing out loud the whole time reading it. Babe Walker describes the life of a privileged white girl perfectly. I'm dying to get my hand on her second book Psycos.

I've been eyeing up this hexagon towel ring for a couple months now since I saw it on CopyCat Chic's room redo. It's currently on sale for $10 so get it while you can!

I stumbled upon Blue Avocado yesterday and quickly obsessed over their stuff. I hate using zip lock bags but could never find anything else that would work to bring my lunch to work. I don't know why it took me so long to find reusable ones but I bought more than enough to last us! They're $9 for two and they sell so many other cool reusable things.

Current Obsession: Hammocks

 

There is something so whimsical and relaxing about hammocks. If our apartment was big enough we would totally have one. It can be a great decorative accent making a space feel bigger and getting more seating in without the visual mass of a chair. A couple of my favs are below from Anthropologie.

Friday Favories

Happy Friday all! We have made it through another week!

I got these wedges from Target last fall and I wore them all the time! They are super comfy and cute! Currently they don't carry them anymore, but I'm crossing my fingers that they bring them back for fall! I'm dying to have them in black.

The hunt for things to go on our imaginary gallery wall continues. Danny & I both love Mumford and Sons (we saw them in concert last year, they don't tour too much so if they're around you have to see them!) I love this print, it's a definite contender.

I snagged this shirt from J. Crew factory last week. I'm dying for fall, and my recent purchases have shown it. I got this shirt online and didn't realize how light weight it was. I wish it was more of a flannel but it still would pare perfectly with a vest. 

Last weekend we went over to Ikea and finally got a step still. Being 5'1" there is a whole lot in our apartment I can't reach. We got this one, I stained it a dark brown and spray painted the legs gold half way up. It goes perfectly with everything else in our apartment!

This pineapple print is another contender for our gallery wall. I've had a recent love for pineapples. I can't tell if it's just cause it's summer or if it will stick around for awhile.
