Hello friends! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I know this week will go slow for me since I'm looking forward to the holiday.

These are some of my favorite things I've either purchased or are on my list to purchase very very soon. I'm dying to find a space in our apartment for that darling elephant print! That bucket bag from Old Navy is a steal at $32 and perfect for summer when you don't want to carry around a huge tote. The Lily Pulitzer case I bought last summer and the only time it came off my phone was to use my gold sparkly case for the holidays. It's not a hard case but not a silicone case either, it's nice and small so it doesn't add bulk to my phone. I love it. The coral necklace I bought about a month and a half ago from Target (it's currently on sale for $11.95!). I'm obsessed with it, it's the perfect summer necklace! The tribal maxi skirt I got from the Loft a couple weekends ago and I've worn it every weekend since. it's nice a light weight and the slits up either side make it easy to walk in. Loft has everything 50% off until the end of the day too! The mint apple candy polish I got a couple weekends ago as well and it's been on my nails since. it's the perfect shade of blue/green without being too saturated with color.

Current Obsession: Lucite

Lucite furniture is everywhere and clearly I'm obsessed, pun totally intended. Since we're still trying to furnish our own apartment I've been looking to lucite more and more. I'm thinking about doing a Lucite coffee table for our living room, and I'm obsessed with the trunk.

 

 

 

I absolutely LOVE the idea of using logs in it, and adding famine touches with flowers.

Current Obsession: Marquee Letters

Hello all! Here we are at the start of another week. Our weekend was crazy with a capital C! We drove 8 hours in one day, 4 to a wedding and 4 to Danny's sisters to celebrate fathers day with his family. It was exhausting but we were very happy we got some time with his nephew. I need another weekend just to recover!

Lately I've been looking at the walls of our apartment, which are all completely bare, and wondering what I'm going to do with them to warm our place up. I have found so many cool things to do with marquee letters. Here are some of my favs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I may be slightly obsessed with the Christmas one, I love the idea of bringing them in for the holidays!

Current Obsession: Pop of Color

There is nothing better than a pop of color done well, especially a pop of neon. I'm a huge fan on a neutral cozy living space, but when the weather warms up I want something energetic and fun!
